Locking a WebFilm PIN is a good security measure to take if you wish to share the PIN with others so they can load content into WebFilm by email but not access the WebFilm directly to make a change. By password protecting your WebFilm you are ensuring that the only way for anybody to access the WebFilm is through your account. Once the WebFilm PIN is locked you can no longer log in by simply typing the WebFilm PIN number on the Cachelan homepage. This means that if you were to lose your WebFilm PIN number another person would still be unable to log into the WebFilm.
To lock a WebFilm PIN log in to your account and click the "WebFilm" tab. Select the WebFilm(s) that you would like to protect by clicking the checkbox(es) on the left side. Then, using the pulldown menu at the bottom, select "Password Protection" and press GO. When completed you should see a padlock icon appear beside the WebFilm. A PIN can be unlocked any time by performing the same steps but selecting Remove Protection. For more details, select the "?" button at the bottom of the Account screens.
